You get in the car on Monday morning and you're not sure you're heading the right way.
After the reorganisation you still have a place. You just don't know if you still want it.
You said no three times before you knew why. Someone asks what you want and you hear yourself say something that isn't true.
This day is built for leaders and senior experts: (senior) managers, team leaders, directors and others with a solid track record who are ready to redefine what comes next.
A choice is coming. You’d rather be the one who makes it — not the logical option, not the available one, not the one everyone expects of you.
During Shape, I guide and accelerate your thinking towards something solid enough to build your future choices and actions on.
Your role, organisation or context is shifting, and it's time to decide what you will and won't go along with.
A new role, offer or direction looks tempting. But does it actually fit you?
Your gut tells you the next step shouldn’t just be the obvious one. So what should it be?
From earlier one-to-one Shape sessions, using the same visual method.
“Rather than a career direction, what I gained most was clarity and confidence in my strengths and my personality — and that’s helping me right now as I search for a new job.”
“I was able to bring my perspective together into a story, and use the photo as a metaphor within it.”
“The patterns became visually clear during the sessions. Sometimes you need to see things through a different lens — these images helped me do exactly that.”
You look back, make images, print and arrange them, uncover patterns, test possibilities and make your choice.
Five steps take you from looking to meaning, from meaning to choosing, and from choosing to doing.

01
What have you built, and what keeps showing up in it?
02
What does it look like when it’s finally right?
03
Where do you start, what do you let go of, what do you hold onto? Your next step, made concrete — with a date on it.
04
What do you say when someone asks why this is your next step?
05
Does your choice hold up in the real world? What’s the first thing you set in motion?
You work on your own question. Not the group's.
You work mostly in pairs, sometimes in a small group. Someone looks at your images with you and asks further. Then you swap.
That way you see the differences side by side. What seems obvious to you, someone else spots straight away.
You tell your story out loud, to someone you don't know yet. Before your manager or a new employer hears it.
You share what you want to share. No more.
Your own question. Someone else's eyes.
TANGIBLE RESULT
Not just a good conversation — something you can actually build on afterwards.

During Shape, I guide your thinking. I bring structure, ask questions, make connections and reflect back what I see in your story and in the images you create.
Sometimes that means helping you slow down and look more closely. Other times, it’s about sharpening a choice and pushing forward. I keep the process on track: where are you now, what are you really trying to answer, and where do you keep going round in circles?
I won’t hand you the answer. The choice stays yours. My job is to make sure you work step by step towards something you can actually choose and act on.
Twenty-five years in international organisations and twenty years of improvised theatre shape how I do that.
I’ve worked in small and large teams, across different countries and cultures — developing strategy, translating it into plans, and then owning delivery too.
As a people manager and director, I’ve led teams and reorganisations. I’ve mentored, trained as an internal coach, and built leadership programmes.
Improvisation taught me something else entirely: to listen hard, build on what someone brings, and find the structure in a story that isn’t finished yet.
Those two worlds meet in Shape: I look with you, dig deeper, and help you see more clearly what your next step really is.
On the approach, the guidance, and what you’ll actually walk away with.
You don’t need the perfect words for your question yet.
Tell me briefly what’s on your mind. I’ll tell you honestly whether Shape is the right fit.
The day goes ahead from four participants.
